Lionel Smart School Council
Our first question was-
“What do you think would encourage children to read more?”
All the children in school voted and the winning idea was to “set up a school library”
In second place children voted “having a reading buddy".
We are very keen to set up a school library next year and planning is already underway. We would also like to introduce reading buddy's when the COVID restrictions have lifted.
Another idea many children suggested was to help pick litter. The PTA have given us 5 litter pickers and after the Easter holidays classes will take it in turns to be involved with helping do this.
The children all thoroughly enjoyed voting and feeling that their voice is heard. We look forward to seeing all their views.
