All the children were asked '' What do you think would encourage children to read more?''

The 5 options given were:

1. Setting up a school library
2. Having a ''reading buddy''
3. Inviting authors to school to do assemblies
4. Reading a good book review
5. Getting a ''Reader of the week'' certificate

The results for each option was:

1. Setting up a school library - 35% (Winner)
2. Having a ''reading buddy'' - 24%
3. Inviting authors to school to do assemblies - 18%
4. Reading a good book review - 1%
5. Getting a ''Reader of the week certificate'' - 22%

Action

Plans have been made to create a school library and details will follow shortly
