 An additional receptionist/ administrative assistant is required for our busy school reception desk.


 Hours to be worked are 8.45am-3.45pm Monday to Friday term-time only + 5 additional training (INSET) days per annum totalling working 39 weeks per annum.  Working hours are 32.5 hours weekly and the working day includes a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.


Previous experience of working in a school environment is essential. 


Main skills and duties to include:

  • Reception Desk duties
  • To ensure the safety of all on site by monitoring all visitors to the school.
  • Answering parental enquiries in person or on the phone.
  •  Taking other telephone calls and messages.
  • First aid duties   


Other administrative duties: 

  • Word processing and Excel
  • School Stationery - stock control and distribution
  • Assisting with ParentPay administration (training will be given if required)
  • Photocopying
  • Data Input: i.e daily registers, inputting pupil information - you must be familiar with either RM Integris or SIMS operating systems for Data input. ( training will be given if required)
  • Any other analogous duties as required.
