Platinum Award reward

In our school we use smilie reward cards to praise good behaviour and work. Children put smilie stickers onto Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum cards. 

100 smilies = Bronze Award certificate in assembly

200 smilies = Silver Award certificate and a ready, respectful or safe pencil in assembly

300 smilies = Gold Award certificate and a ready, respecful or safe badge in assembly.

We asked children in their smart school question to choose what children that get 400 smilies should get as a reward. 

The options were - a book, a treat from a treasure box eg. a game or a puzzle, a special badge or hot chocolate or milkshake with Mrs Hone the headteacher. 

The overwhelming winning votes with 78% of all votes was Hot Cholate or Milkshake with Mrs Hone!
